Weekend in San Diego

We spent last weekend in San Diego with Nick's family and man was it HOT! We stayed at the Best Western in Old Town San Diego and honestly had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by Old Town! It was full of historic houses and buildings and we had such a blast exploring them! I’m a huge fan of Mexican food which was great because there was one Mexican restaurant after another!

We spent Friday exploring Old Town and shopping for souvenirs. Then Saturday we headed down to the Zoo! I won’t lie, I’ve never been a huge fan of the Zoo. It is so much walking and sometimes the animals are hiding. But I will say that it was really fun showing JuJu B her favorite animals. Although I don’t think she realized what she was looking at!

Sunday we went to Legoland which was so much fun! My favorite part was looking at miniland which is the section of the park where they have created cities out of legos. It’s so amazing to see recreations of Vegas, New York, San Francisco and even Legoland! Juliet absolutely loved the aquarium at Legoland! It was so fun to watch her face light up looking at the fish tanks! They actually have a huge tank with a window tunnel you can walk through and watch the sharks and fish swim over your head! 

The hardest part of the trip was dealing with the heat and trying to keep Juliet in the shade! She also decided not to sleep through the night on our trip which was rough! Day 1 : I spent most of the weekend in these sketchers. They are super comfortable for walking around all day but look cuter than your average tennis shoe! My Denim romper is from Marshall's and I can't find it for sale anywhere online but here is one that is similar. Here is Juliet's Denim romper.

Day 2: My Black and White Stripped Shorts from New York and Company are no longer available in black in white but they do have these and these which are super cute! These are the bows that Juliet wore all weekend.
